Bees were always an interest to Bill. At 5 his aunt took him out to watch her look at a hive. There were lots of bees but not bad results. Then a couple of years later after being stung playing in the grass, he figured this was not a big deal.
While still in high school in 1962 Bill became more interested in keeping bees. The following year a friend and he bought packages from Chester bee supplies.
In 1967 Bill continued on the legacy of a local Apiary. In 1968 he found his Queen bee, Rosemary, and soon followed some little worker bees. Now along with some grand bay-bees the operation has grown.
When you call or email Bill, Rosemary or their daughter Sherri will answer you personally.
We take extreme pride in our hand packed and quality items all made right on premise.
Our honey is 100% unpasteurized Ontario Honey, still made in small consistent batches to provide the very best quality .
Look for many different varieties over the seasons from dandelion-spring honey, to beautiful mild clovers of summer and the distinctive goldenrod in fall honey.
Our bees are also a distinguished part of our heritage. Through the years Bill had diligently produced what we believe to be superior stock to any we have ever worked with.
As our Legacy continues we look forward to your visits and enjoying hearing from you!
